Meet Love
Growing up in Missoula, Montana, where Big Sky country meets the Rocky Mountain wilderness, I developed a strong connection with nature and confidence in myself via backcountry exploration, bucking wood, and rafting white water rapids. I am grateful to be from a place so dedicated to community, education, the arts, and the environment. I have plenty of stories involving horses, wolves, and the natural elements to tell around a campfire if you're itching to learn about life in the heart of the Rockies.
I moved to California in 2014 to teach in a high-needs middle school in Seaside, just outside of Monterey; it was an incredibly rewarding and challenging experience. I moved to San Francisco in 2015 and have since worked in various positions for several different organizations seeking opportunities for professional growth and leadership. I love the life I built there and am grateful to have an extensive network of friends, diverse creative communities, and abundant opportunities for learning and growth over the 10 years I lived in Cali. Some of my favorite activities included event and festival production, being the "Mayor" of a 158-person Burning Man village ($250k budget), co-leading dance celebrations for 500+ people ($16k budget), and regularly baking apple pies for my neighbors (priceless). I am currently enjoying time in nature with my family in Montana, and am looking for my next big project. I am open to relocating for the right opportunity please reach out with any offers that align with my areas of expertise.
I take pride in being creative and intentional throughout every aspect of my life and enjoy a variety of artistic hobbies including painting, writing, the flow arts, baking, and dance. In addition, I consider myself a highly empathetic, radically self-reliant, and enthusiastic woman. I connect strongly with the term "humbledent," which means humble yet confident because I am comfortable with leadership, yet honest about my strengths, take feedback to heart, and strive for continual growth. I aim to be "a good human" and want to leave the world a better place to the best of my abilities.
I genuinely believe that loving-kindness, empathy, patience, and Ahimsa are integral to fostering open communication and meaningful connections. I also know that mental and physical health go hand-in-hand, and I strive to maintain a healthful lifestyle via balanced nutrition, running, yoga, reading, and creative self-expression. When I'm not working, you can find me outside in nature, leading events, making art with friends, hiking with my dog, and dancing to my favorite music.
